When I had my u/s this morning there was one at 21 and one at 18. The other follicles didn't keep up with that pace. Doctor called me herself (usually nurse calls) and told me no retrieval bc there aren't enough follies to warrant it. I take my HCG tonight & come in Mon morning for IUI. My estrogen was 668 today. She'd like it to be at 2,000. She is coming up with a new protocol if the IUI doesn't work that I should respond better to. All 3 of my past IUIs produced 5+ follicles. I've been down since the call. DH keeps reminding me to stay positive for the IUI and he keeps reminding me that we're in this together as a team. I know that in my head, but in my heart I was prepared for IVF 2 times now & neither worked out. I'm sure I'll be better tomorrow when it's a new day. Ugh!

So sorry hun. It is hard when we expect and wait for something so much and it doesn't happen, but try to keep your chin up. IUI miracles happen everyday, this could be yours.

Aw hun, that must be so discouraging!!! I hope those eggies are super duper healthy and end up gettin' you pregnant!!!!! You have a good chance!!! I know it's frustrating, but I am going to have hope that this is it for you!!!!!!!!!!!

Aw, that really stinks! I'm sorry that the news wasn't better, but I have everything crossed that those follies will be the perfect ones to give you a BFP in 2 weeks (or less!).

That is disappointing news. However, you have to love that you re was honest with you and didn't make you go through expensive unnecessary procedure that would give you the best chance of bfp. You are not out at all though. When you get your bfp from your iui instead you will have so much to be grateful for. Hopefully this is a good sign that you need iui and not ivf. Good luck we are all cheering for you.

Cycles 1-6 = BFN
Cycle 7 SA results abnormal morphologhy, 50 mg clomid = BFN
Cycle 8 sonogramn normal 50 mg clomid + trigger = BFN
Cycle 9 SA results abnormal morphology and motility. Count 200 mill, 100mg clomid + trigger = BFN
Cycle 10 natural = BFN
Cycle 11 hsg tubes clear, natural + trigger+iui = BFN
Cycle 12 repronex + trigger + 2 iui = BFN
Cycle 13 natural ovaries to stimulated for more meds = BFN 
Cycle 14 natural cycle - planning ivf/icsi/donor egg in Oct  =BFN 
Cycle 15 natural cycle - searching for donor = BFN
Cycle 16 natural cycle = I am sure it will be BFN
Cycle 17 natural cycle with Acupuncture =

i'm sorry the cycle didn't go as expected but now i'll have my fingers x'd for you that the IUI gets you a BFP instead!

Thanks for the encouragement, Ladies! I was pretty down when I got the phone call. I had the IUI this morning & I'm trying really hard to stay positive and keep my head up. I really hope this is it for us! I keep telling my body this morning to "make a baby!"
We shall see!!! I have HOPE!

DH: 39 (low morphology - 2%)
Married since Feb 2010
TTC since August 2010
TTC naturally for one year August 2010 until August 2011 and knew something was wrong
Aug 2011-Oct 2011: Saw RE #1 - bad experience- started clomid and recommended IUI, which failed.
Started with NEW RE October/November 2011
Found DH's low morphology in October/November 2011
HSG - no issue with tubes
RE Recommended IVF with ICSI - decided to start the process in Jan.
IVF Cycle #1:
ER 2/2/12 - 13 retrieved, 12 fertilized, 8 frozen.
ET 2/5/12 - transferred two embryo's - 8 cell and 7 cell
Beta HCG on 2/17/12: :BFN:
