I'm so excited! I have already tried Clomid and no success. I'm just curious what is going to happen tomorrow. What tests there going to do, if any. Do they do ultra sounds? Or blood work? Im so anxious.

good luck! is this your first consult appt with RE, or are you doing 1st baseline appt (CD2-3)?

In my first consult appt, we just spoke with RE - went over my medical records, background & discussed treatment plan. Whether they do an u/s may depend on what info they need...in my case we didn't start doing u/s until later appts to check on follie size, etc.

Its an hour long consult. I am currently in the 2WW around 8 DPO. So AF is coming soon so if they need blood work atleast I wont have to wait that long

I bet since you are 8dpo, they will do bloodwork. They can see if you are prenant now and check your progesterone levels post O to see if you are going to need help with that. They may do an ultra sound too to check your linning. This will give the valuable information for next cycle. Then if you want to proceed with anything after you meet with them for an hour, they will have you call on CD1 and go in on CD3 for u/s bloodwork.

On my first appointment with my first RE, all he did was a gyn exam, bloodwork, ultrasound and discussion. I did not have a positive experience there, so I left within a few months.

On my first appt with my current RE, he tested my hubby's sperm and showed it to us under a microscope projected onto a TV, did a post coital test (look it up, kinda TMI, sorry), bloodwork for both of us, ultrasound for me, very long conversation about options. Out appointment was 3 hrs long, at least... He was very thorough. He also requested we have some other tests done, like an hsg to make sure my tubes weren't blocked.

Good luck!
