Well girls it seems like the fertility GODs do love us after all

I went in to my new gyno for a woman's wellness check: pap smear, routine blood work, etc... The nurse comes in and says that I do not have a bladder infection ( ok.. lol) but I am pregnant. I just looked at her and said... are you sure? Is that really my urine sample? I explained to her that we were in the adoption process and have tried for over 5 years to get pregnant with no luck.

NEEDLESS TO SAY I AM SHOCKED BUT EXCITED AT THE SAME TIME.

About 15 months ago I went on the HCG Diet and dropped about 110 lbs and began to ovulate on my own within the last few months.

Our EDD is October 29, 2012 <3 WE are still continuing with our adoption process JUST IN CASE something goes wrong.. fingers crossed and sticky dust needed!!!!!

I do not know if any of this actually did anything...... ( list below)

Since Thanksgiving I followed Brandi's formula for babymaking: ( LONG TIME LURKER )

Lemon Water Detox
Raspberry Tea
Peppermint Tea
Soy

I stopped drinking sodas over a year ago and I do not use regular sugar I have started using Truvia and Splenda I took pork and fried foods out of my diet as well. I basically eat whole grain wheat, veggies-minus corn, carrots, and peas, and extra lean beef and chicken breast.

Vitamins:
Prenatal
Follic Acid
Vitamin C
Vitamin E
Biotin for Nails, Hair, and Skin
hearts.0nfire and gemipisces like this.

WOW - that is great! Congrats. I love hearing these kind of BFP!

So can you tell us more about the HCG diet? I "googled" it, but looks like there is a bunch of junk sites. Do you have some more reliable information?

So how many weeks does that make you then? 8 or 9?
