...but I never thought of this! Read about someone combining all their shots into one! Squirting the follistim into the menopur vial and giving it all with one needle. Sometimes adding the ganirelix as well. Is everyone doing this because it's the smartest thing I've heard in a while!

Becky I did this with my Menopur and Bravelle, but my RE said not to add the Ganirelix. Idk why...

The only thing I will say is make sure your syringe will hold it all. When I had to do 2 vials of each it wouldnt hold it all so I had to do two shots anyways. lol

Becky, it's funny you mention this, because that is actually what my RE told me to do. It makes it so much easier doing Bravelle and Menopur in 1 shot. I haven't yet started Ganirelix, but I would go with Alicia in not mixing it.

I guess I was just excited because I said, "well I can't because Follistim is a pen" and my friend was like, just squirt it into the Menopur vial...DUH.

Hi Becky,

I had my second sono and bw this morning and was told that Ganirelix can actually be mixed with Bravelle/Menopur. My IVF nurse said it was up to me whether I prefer to do it separately or pair it with my Bravelle/Menopur mixture.

Mine told me not to mix the Ganirelix either, but that menopur and follistim were fine. I have video's on my blog of us mixing it up

I would ask the doctor not the nurse. Sometimes their knowledge of a certain drug is not as vast as the doctors knowledge!! GOOD LUCK.. sounds like a great idea!
