Sorry I haven't been around much...we took a couple cycles off after last loss in Feb but we're back TTCing again and I had the CD3 baseline appt today with my RE. Basically all good news:

~ 8 follies developing

~ Keeping same med protocol (50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel) this cycle.

~ No more progesterone test at DPO5...basically after one med free cycle in Dec + medicated cycle in Jan (resulting in loss) w/both cycles showing a progesterone deficiency they are convinced I'm not producing enough progesterone generally....this cycle RE is going to be more aggressive & put me on it around DPO2-3 instead of DPO5, which I think is a great idea.

~ RE AGREED to let me start the Lovenox immediately upon a + hpt (instead of after 3 betas with proper doubling)! They're calling in the prescription today so I can actually have it on hand (most pharmacies don't have it stocked so it takes a few days to get normally)

Other than that, my RE gave me a sweet pep talk about all the "good" news from my last loss & how that info helps him refine our treatment plan and how he's very confident I will be a success story for him (here's hoping!)

My next appt will be next Wed 4/18 to check follie(s) size & hopefully get the go-ahead to take the trigger shot!

I'm glad you were able to talk him into the Lovenox early. I didn't know they usually do not have stock of it at the pharmacy. I'm going to have to call my Walgreen's and see. There is no way I will wait patiently for it after a BFP!

As for the Progesterone, what were your levels? And why a few days earlier? Just curious. My levels 7dpo has been in the 20's on 300mg of Prometrium. I start the Prometrium 4dpo. (Which was an unmedicated/no clomid cycle) Just curious what the rationale is behind it. They actually lowered my dose now that I'm doing the Clomid to 200 mg.

Good luck this cycle. This has to be the lucky cycle for us both right?

Yeah on the Lovenox availability, maybe your pharmacy stocks it regularly but Kristin (farasha) if you remember her advised me to get script filled in advance b/c I guess she ran into a wait of a few days with her pharmacy (and mine didn't have it, so i think will take a day or two).

On the progesterone (i take 200mg supplement), the DPO5 test (with 2 different cycles) was done before starting supplementation and on both my natural level came in at 9 where they want to see 10 minimally on a no meds cycle and i think wanted to see closer to a 15 when on Clomid/Ovidrel, which i guess they also hope will help body generate more progesterone naturally. Because RE is convinced my 2nd loss was related to critically low levels of progesterone (complicated b/c I hadn't fully weaned Savannah...my level when tested was at 2 @ 6wks) he thinks starting the progesterone a bit earlier (~ DPO2-3) will help with next pregnancy....timing is tricky b/c I think you can't start before ovulation or you risk messing that up (?) but I think he's trying to start the supplements as quickly as he can w/o impacting Oing. Even on supplementation my prog levels were never amazing - w/last loss despite supplementation @200mg/day my level was an 18 @ DPO11-13 which was sort of at the low end of what they were hoping for, although w/in an minimally acceptable range.

I just called Walgreen's and depending on the strength, they said they had some. Not sure about that answer. Now I have a call into RE.

And you answered my question that I didn't ask. My RE had said if you take the Prometrium/Progesterone too early it messes with ovulation. I'm suppose to start mine tomorrow. It seriously makes me crazy. I have a super short fuse on it for some reason.
