Does anyone know how much your lining thickens each day before you O? Friday cd13 my lining was only 4.5. My largest follicle was 17 and my doctor thinks that i will ovulate today, cd 15. Is there any chance my lining would have thickend enough for fertilization? He also gave me .625mg of estrogen on cd 12. Any input would be grealty appreciated.....thanks

Hi,

I don't know your exact answer, but my doc said that he likes to see 8mm thick for implantation. The estrogen is supposed to help with that. You might be OK, every day your follies grow and your lining thickens. Best of luck.

Thanks for responding! I went for an u/s today and my lining was at 9.6mm. I had to get an hcg shot because I hadn't ovulated yet. My dominant follicile was 21mm on the right side and i has one on the left at 20mm. Needless to say it was very exciting to see that my lining has thickened.

coop 1 are you seeing a RE or an OBGYN? I just wanted to know because I'm seeing OBGYN and I'm not getting those kind of testing just clomid and checking my levels.

I am seeing my regular obgyn. All he has done was 4 follicile scans (u/s) to check follicile growth and the lining, and next monday i will go in for another scan to make sure i ovulated with the shot.

That is wonderful! You give me hope. I went on CD 10 and 12 for the follicle scans and the dr. said my lining was too thin. He gave me an estrogen patch to wear through CD 21 to increase the lining. I hope I was as lucky as you with the thickness increasing. I haven't gone back for another scan because I had a cyst and the dr. thought I would no ovulate. However, I think the dr was wrong and I did ovulate according to my chart anyway. Guess I will find out when my progesterone results come back.

I hope this is your month. I have been going through a similar process to what you are so chat with me anytime.
