Hi

I hope you don't mind me dropping in here but I thought you mite be able to help.

I am ttc and am 3 month past m/c and have noticed that this months bbt are lower then normal so I was wondering if you think this could be due to low progesterone and if there was a natural supplement I could take to increase it .

I am 38 and do have children after a few years of test and procedures. I have had 4 loses over the years and would like one more to complete my family and would really appreciate your opinions.

Thank you
Lou

Have you changed thermometers? Batteries? Even a change in season can affect the temps. I am not exactly sure of the relationship between low BBT post O and progrsterone.... Hopefully one of the other ladies on here can help.

in addition to Melissa's suggestions (all good - and could be the simplest explanation)

Is your temp lower across the board (regardless of where you're at in your cycle)? And is it lower than a normal temp - like down in low 97s or even 96s?

I'm not aware of any correlation between progesterone deficiency & temp (although maybe some of the other ladies do and can clarify) but if your temps are low across the board and you haven't had your thyroid checked that would be one thing to do...i know hypothyroidism can sometimes show up with consistently low bbt (among other symptoms) - but having a low bbt does not necessarily mean you're hypo, it's just something worth checking.

Good luck to you - KUP on how you're doing!
