I had my appointment with the second RE this morning. She reviewed everything from my previous RE and said there is absolutely no reason to suggest that I shouldn’t start out with my own eggs, especially when my ultrasounds were showing 10 to 12 resting follicles. She did say with my age and the fact that we’ve been trying for over 2 years that she agrees to skip IUI and go right into IVF. She also said that I basically had all the testing required with the other RE (in Jan and repeated in July) so no need to do them again and said that since I just started a new cycle I can go ahead start suppression birth control for IVF in September!!! I start stimming on Sep 4th with an estimated date of retrieval on the 15th.
We are so nervous and excited! We decided to go with this RE, not just because she gave us hope of succeeding with my own eggs, but her SART data is so much then the previous RE.

Nov 2012 IVF take 2 = 3 embryos but due to concerns with lining unable to transfer
Jan 2013 endometrial biopsy = normal
FEB BCP cycle
Mar 21 – transferred 2 beautiful embryos, but unfortunately BFN

That is so great you don't have to redo testing. That takes so much time before you can get started.
It will be here before you know it. YAY!
