Hello! I am new to ttc and have been diagnosed with pcos last july. I did my first round of clomid in december 50 mgs days 5-9 and this round i am doing 100 mg days 3-7 after taking provera to start af. I did have a pos opk on day 16 first round but as of day 33 no af. Has this happened to anyone else and did the increased dose work better?

Thanks

I too have PCOS and started taking Provera in December to regulate AF. Then added Metformin and Clomid 50mg in January. I O'd on CD 15 but unfortunately did not conceive. AF came on time without the help of Provera this cycle, but was an abnormal one (only spotting for days, which is not normal for me at all) I can't take Clomid this cycle as I have developed medium to large sized cysts on one ovary and have been started on birth control for a few weeks to shrink them. We will try again in 6 weeks if the cysts have shrank.

Sorry havent been here for awhile! Ericalyxoxo sorry to hear that and hope your next cycle is the one. I am moving to an re, my obgyn is just not working out. She dismisses most of what i say and has not done any tests since last june and all she did was hormone checks so time to move on! Good luck!

Hi zonee- I'd speak to the RE before doing the 100mg. It seems some women do 75mg. Some others (with pcos) do different medicines all together. If the one that was prescribing was a regular OB- I'd get the specialist involved first. Good luck.
