I felt like I wanted to cry during Brylie's IUI.....i think i was overwhelmed at everything. I'm not sure what it will be like this time....i think i partly want to cry because it's just not a fun thing to experience in general.....but dont feel embarassed about it, it's an emotional time and im sure the doctors have had more than one momma in tears. RE's seem pretty sensitive (at least in my experience with the 3 that work in my office) and they do this every day - they know the struggle, pain, sadness and anxiety that comes with all of this.

I cried during the only IUI I did. Maybe because it was my first invasive reproductive proceedure and it scared me a bit. Alot of it might have been me mourning not being able to get pregnant the old fashion way, suprising DH with a postive test and all that.

No one is going to blink an eye if you cry. I bet lots of women do.

Aww, Im sure lots of women do just like the other ladies said. It scares me that you say it hurts! I havn't had one yet. Im sure I will cry too. Its a lot riding on that one procedure and its a huge thing so Im sure they are used to people crying.

Yes we will do another tmrw am. It's not horrible but I've had 2 cervical biopsies that didnt hurt like this!!!
Worth it tho!! If I didn't feel anything I'd probably think it won't work lol

I cried when I had my first IUI too. I cried more because of the emotions and the Unknown. Mine didn't hurt though other than a pinch. Not sure why yours hurt.
I hope the next one goes smoother. You might have been tense and upset now you know what to expect so I bet it wont hurt.
