just started the process for FET last Friday - I have 9 snow babies and I started the Vivelle Dot Patch and Estrace. In about a week I will start eh Progesterone & Oil shots and have my transfer tentatively scheduled for 2/26/13. Once the transfer is complete I am scheduled to come back in the office 10 days later for a blood test. SURELY they don't expect you to wait those 10 days - I'm going to be a nervous wreck - Does anyone try HPT's before the 10 days is up? I'm going to start stocking up now

Melissa(KMH) I believe used something like 50 HPT's during her FET and early pregnancy. I'd think you could start testing 4 days post transfer and get an answer

Yeah...I'm totally the wrong person to ask

I started testing 3 days after the transfer and continued to test until I drove myself crazy and back again. I got my first faint positive 4 days past transfer and got a positive digi about 96 hours after the transfer.

Just for the record, I don't recommend obsessive testing. It probably isn't healthy. But the PIO shots are less painful if you are looking at a BFP

I'm tellin' ya! Especially the nights I had to do two shots myself when DH was gone (PIO and Estrogen)...seeing a BFP brought me back from a meltdown more than once.

I have heard you CAN start testing 3 days after a 5 day transfer...during our only IVF so far, (which was fresh) my husband wouldn't let me test...but you bet your butt I'm testing during our next FET!

for you!

You have walked into the anti-POAS mafia territory!

I however would love to be one but am not. POAS is like a drug and "you can't just pee on one stick!"

GOOD LUCK!!!

I start PIO soon -within a week. I jus went in today for BW and US - My lining is at 7.36 and he said it needs to be at 8 so I'm guessing I'll start the shots soon. Right now I'm just on the Vivelle Patch and Estrace.

You ladies are so funny - I already know I will be testing like crazy!

I have a friend that got a bfp at 8dpo or 3dp5dt....she tested the trigger out and it actually never went away. I did the same thing, my trigger was out around 4dp3dt and I got a bfp on the afternoon 4:30 on 6dp3dt or 9dpo on a Wondfo IC. Best of luck to you and yes, we want to see pics!

No, I didn't add up the cost of the tests, but we spent around $15,000 on the fresh cycle and $7500 for the FET, so after that the tests seem pretty cheap.

Can't wait to see your BFPs, Melissa!! Just so you know...Melissa's have a great record on this board...there are two of us already with twins
