Hello, I have done letrizole for two cycles and two IUIs. No success yet, but my body responds well to letrizole. I didn't experience any side effects with the drug.

This will be my second cycle on it (started tonight).
I got pg but lost it.
I had very little side effects but it's different for everyone.

I am not sure of the success rate on it... But i believe most people who get pg on it get pg within 4 tries.

Much luck to you!

This is my second cycle on it. First cycle was 5 mg and I had slight headaches every day but it didn't produce large enough follies so my trigger/IUI was cancelled. I just started my second cycle and I havn't had any headaches and my dose was upped to 7 mg. I go in for a scan next week to see if its working.

Good luck, I hope the meds help you!

I just took it for the first time this cycle. It gave me persistant headaches, like really bad ones, and it made me really sleepy and I got joint pain. It wasn't as bad as Clomid though...that made me kinda crazy/moody, in addition to headaches, nausea and sleepiness. I'm about to ovulate soon, so I won't know if it'll result i a BFP for a good ten days or so.

I did 2 cycles, 5mg cd 3-7. First cycle, i triggered on cd 11 and IUI cycle day 13. I had 3 mature follicles and 2 that were real close and could have caught up, on cycle day 10 they were all between 12 and 17mm, and the IUI was 3 days later, so if the grew 2 mm a day, then even the 12 and 13 could have caught up. BFN.

Next cycle, i went in on CD 11 and had 2 follies, they were only like 12-13mm, two days later they had not grown, then 2 days later they had started to shrink

I had mild side effects, a couple mood swings, but that could have been just the emotional rollercoaster of it all.

Good luck!

Provera probably? It depends on the person taking it. Some people get AF before they're finished taking the pills, for others it can take up to 10 days (I think?) after stopping.

Good luck with the Letrozole! I'm one of the lucky ones without side effects, but I also didn't respond as well as we hoped. (We did it combined with an injects cycle.)

Maybe your doctor is putting you on Provera to start AF? I had to have a progesterone shot to jump start this period but i was given the choice of an oral progesterone (Provera) or the shot. My shot took around 7 days to make AF show. Good luck!

Usually with Clomid at least the cd3-7 gives you more follices, but CD5-9 gives you better quality follicles...so I guess it depends on what your Dr. thinks will help you best.

I had less s/e with Femara than Clomid. Best of luck to you!
