my IUI was on 2/12, and they told me to test on 2/22 and if it was negative the IUI didn't work and i can stop taking the progesterone...that's only 10dpIUI...with Brylie I didn't get my bfp until 12dpIUI and they told me not to test until 14dpIUI...why did they change it? 10dpIUI is still really early IMO?

What does your Dr. recommend? I'm not going to quit taking my progesterone that early

that's too early imo...my RE usually has me test 14-15 days after trigger (he doesn't realize i'm a degenerate POASer so I start testing at 8DPO ) and come off progesterone if test is negative at that point. HOWEVER this pregnancy is proof that even a negative test at what we though was 12DPO wasn't late enough...especially if for whatever reason you ovulate oddly late post trigger like apparently I did.

If your cycle is normally 28 days I'd probably wait until 13-14DPO before coming off progesterone...the supplement never held up AF for me by more than a day anyway. Good luck to you when you test!!!

I agree, that is TOOOO early! Most women don't get bfp's by 10dpo, I think the average (for POASers) is 11/12dpo...so someone must have messed up the math on your sheet IMO....I'd hold out as well on stopping progesterone....but I'm hoping you don't stop, because you are preggers!

How are you feeling??? Have you tested at all?

Definitely too early in my opinion! I would keep taking the progesterone until 14DPO and only stop then if you have a BFN. Which hopefully you'll have a BFP anyway!!

Even though Im pretty new to the TTCMA stuff that seems early to me too. What can it hurt to take it a few more days and keep testing? Personally I would keep taking it.

It's a typed out sheet. It's so weird. I'm not going to stop. As far as how I'm feeling...honestly, pregnant, but I don't want to get my hopes up. I've been crampy, which has been my first sign of pregnancy both times.

My RE always says keep taking it until a confirmed BFN blood test.

It never stopped my AF from coming either...

Progesterone stops my AF for days after I stop taking it and even *I* wouldn't stop taking it that early!!!
And implantation can happen until 12dpo so...
With the last cycle I didn't get a BFP til 13dpo and with #1 it wasn't until 12dpo.

Yeah, that's really early! Maybe they accidently calculated it from your trigger date instead of your IUI date? (Or they had the form open from another person and forgot to change all the fields?) I didn't get a +HPT until 12DPO with Alma either. I had a very faint BFP at 10DPO last time (barely discernable until the next day) so no way in heck would I stop it that early!

Glad you've got some good symptoms Good luck testing!!!

Me: Autoimmune (Hashimotos and Fibromyalgia), vitamin D and calcium deficiency. Treated with Synthroid, supplements, TCM and acupuncture.

DH: Severe MFI (low counts, low motility, poor morphology and high antibodies), likely caused by poor liver function. Treated with Clomid to increase total counts.

DD: Conceived after 1 year of TTC with progesterone to correct LPD (likely caused by undiagnosed thyroid dysfunction). Born Aug 2009 via c/s after an induction due to pre-e and HELLP.

TTC #2 since Oct10 with an early loss in Aug 2011. Post-wash counts are too low for IUI to be successful, so moving on to IVF/ICSI in May 2014!

IVF/ICSI #1 (May 2014): Estrogen priming and antagonist protocol, including acupuncture and prayer!
17/05/14 - Baseline looks good, start Gonal-F 225iu and Luveris 75iu
28/05/14 - 18 eggs retrieved, 14 mature
29/05/14 - 13 fertilized!!! All are looking great still on day 3, so we're going to blast!
02/06/14 - Transferred one 1BC blast, with 3 other blasts and 3 morulas to watch and freeze
03/06/14 - All embryos have arrested. None to freeze
09/06/14 - Faint BFP at home at 7dp5dt!!!!!
10/06/14 - Beta?
