So I went to the ER last night because I had some pain near my right ovary that just kept getting worse and worse yesterday. By last nigh I couldn't even stand up straight and was vomiting the pain was so bad. Turns out I had a couple cysts rupture. While I was there they did an HCG blood test and my HCG level was 0. Yesterday I was 8dp5dt does this mean I'm bfn for sure? I keep telling myself and family that it didn't work but I only keep saying that so if I really do get a bfn at beta time I won't be so shocked. BUT. I have been having all the right symptoms....pulling, twinges, nausea, bloating and a few other things. Thoughts? Anyway I can still be BFP with HCG level at 0 this far past transfer?

I'm so sorry about the cysts! That is really scary. Some people don't get positives until after af is due. There is always still hope until the witch shows!! Are you sure they did a quantitative test, or did they just do qualitative? Did they say it was 0 or did they say it was negative?

I'm not sure which kind they did. They just told me my HCG level was 0 and I wasn't pregnant

I have had cysts rupture before and that is NO FUN! You might find you are sore in that area for a few days.

If your HCG was 0 then your symptoms probably aren't due to pregnancy. A lot of pregnancy symptoms can actually be from progesterone. The other ones wouldn't show up I don't think until after HCG was being produced. Whether is means you won't get pregnant because you are so far from transfer, I really have no idea. Maybe it's a boy embryo and it got lost but is too stubborn to ask for directions so it's just taking a little longer to snuggle in.
