tell us about it...I took out a loan on my 401K for $10,000 and we still had to come up with another $4,000 on top of that...

insurance SUCKS! and we HAVE "good" insurance. but we're in a state that doesn't care if you're infertile.

so vent on!

I hate this is all so expensive. Our insurance covers pretty much nothing. I hope you all figure out a way to make it work!

UGH! We all know what you mean! I have great insurance & I use my flex spending for RE stuff, but for all the money I've put out, I could probably pay my child's first year of college with it!
Now, that we are taking steps to use an egg donor, we need $13,000 in cash (my insurance covers the rest...Thank Goodness!). We have cut back on everything to save up for this.
It sucks big time that we all need to spend so much money to get the chance to become mothers and fathers!

Money is def an issue! Really does stink too. Shouldn't be that way - but it is.
Our insurance doesn't pay for a thing either other than bloodwork. My DH sells stuff online to pay for fertility treatments and he sold enough to save for IVF.

You could always try that.
