I have been through 5 Clomid cycles, the 3rd was the most promising but no luck. At my appointment today my doctor suggested switching to Femara, partly because the Clomid was okay but my lining was thin with it. She did mention that if I wanted she was willing to refer me to an RE, but I want to wait. The closet RE I can find is just a little over an hour away and I'm already missing a lot of work for these appointments, so if I decide to go that route I will need to try to start during summer vacation. We talked about if I should start a new cycle before starting the Femara or not, she said the most recent information she has gotten says that forcing a new cycle to start does not increase chances for anything, so instead of wasting time, we are just going to start the Femara tomorrow. They did do a blood test to make sure I wasn't pregnant... I have taken so many home tests I'm 99.9% certain I am not but I would love it when I called for my medicine tomorrow they had good news and I could just forget all of this :-)

Good luck I hope the fermera works better for you! I'm starting on it for the first time Friday! But I have never been on clomid either. My doctor said he has had such good luck with the fermera so we shall see.

I hope you get a BFP!!!!!

I hope the Femara does the trick and you do not need to go to a RE

Good luck!

Ugh, now I cannot start the Femara until I get a authorization from my insurance, or pay out of pocket :-(. If they don't approve it I will have to decide if its worth paying the out of pocket for or try something different.
