" I have 2 places I need to travel to for work in the next few weeks that I have already been putting off for this"

Is he kidding? We are about 10-15 days away from DE retrieval and then transfer and he wants to travel?

Donor starts stims wed - (last proven cycle she had retrieval on day 12) . He has to be here for that for obvious reasons. I suppose I can do transfer by myself. I want to knock him out right now.

I am grinding my teeth at night for the last 30 days and I chipped my front bottom tooth last night Now he is bugging me about traveling? He just got home from a golf trip to the south with the boys - maybe he should have been working and traveling then instead of playing.

I am hormone raging and someone might want to come save him from me when I get off work.

Update:
So I get home and DH knows I am stressing out. He says he won’t travel till April 15 but then he will HAVE to. So he will be here for all of it including transfer. I told him he had to travel he could do it after retrieval and I could do transfer without h him (even though I don't want to and I was feeling a little less mad). Only bad thing is that he won’t be able to give me m PIO. I'll have to go into the office everyday or have my friend give them to me. He also did an amazing job on my second dose of Delestrogen shot. I didn't feel it at all...not even the needle. Why did the one the nurse gave me hurt like h&ll and DH didn't at all? I hope he got it in the muscle – he is a paramedic so I he should have. I didn't kill him and in fact we snuggled most the evening away.

haha - you guys are funny. I am feeling a little less mad now but I think DH got the point when I txt back and said "well if you want to p&ss away 18,000.00 we could have done it a different way that didnt' inlcude big needles"? He never txt back after that.

He hasn't told work, but if they are making him travel in the next two weeks then he needs to tell them. I told him could travel this week and that is it till April 15th or so. He doesn't want to travel this week since he just got home last night from traveling.

Oh heck no! If my hubby said something like that to me while I was on all these extra hormones I'd be scared of what I might do. Good job controlling yourself

Glad he's willing to be a little more accommodating. Are you able to do the PIO shots yourself? My DH is horribly squeamish around needles and refused to give me mine. In fact, when I had to do it, he'd bolt out of the room until I was done. I found if I saw on an ice pack for 5 min before and 5 min after, it really wasn't too bad, so I was able to just do it myself. But I'm not afraid of needles and have some medical training, so of course that might not be something you're comfortable doing.

YAY!! Glad he made it through the night. My DH was out of town last night so I had to do my own PIO shot - It actually wasn't that bad. No welts today either My 4 year old helped me - She wiped the area with alcohol and begged me to let her give me the shot - lol...

Melissa and Daisee - you are much braver than me. I can't even look at the needle without going into panic mode. I have to sit while visiting people in the hospital most of the time with my head between my legs so I don't pass out. I will not be giving myself any shot- noway! I would rather clean my whole house with my own toothbrush then to look at a needle and poke myself.

Needless to say I would never make it in the medical field if I had to feed my family that way. We would starve.

Gretchen this is EXACTLY how I feel!

DH prepares both shots each night with me in the other room, I cant even LOOK at the needle! I come in when he's finsihed, and turn the other way while he administers the shot. I'm so squimish, I cant even look at the blood, if any, on my belly after the shot!

The fact that I'm doing IVF still shocks me every day!

I am SO in awe of you ladies that can do the shots yourself, never mind the PIO ones!

Gretchen, I am glad to hear that ya'll were able to sit down and chat. Even happier to hear that he won't travel until after the date ya'll had talked about. Glad you were able to make up and cuddle the night away. I honestly have to say that I would let DH stick me any day of the week. When I had DS I almost let him start my IV because the nurse was that bad.
