So tonight is the last night I can have sex this week (until Saturday) DH works tomorrow and then I have my hsg on Wednesday and no sex until 2 days after the procedure. I know I have nothing to worry about or be afraid of. But I am definitely hoping that some of you wonderful ladies will be around tomorrow night to chat with me on here. I highly doubt I will sleep much tomorrow night just from being anxious about the test. Just need some gentle reassurance and positive thoughts/vibes to help calm my nerves.

Oh and I have finally come to terms with not telling much of anyone about what is going on now. I told another person that I thought would be supportive and that totally back fired. She made it sound like we are selfish for trying to get pregnant knowing that are risks could be higher for baby with defects (now this is coming from a mom that HELLP with all of her pregnancies). Ugh!!!! I hate stupid people!!! But love my JM ladies

Oh so sorry you are feeling anxious about the test. It is no fun for all of to have these tests and wait for results. We are told constantly to try and stay stress free during this process to help everything along but how are we suppose to stay stress free when we are always watching the clock waiting for something to happen. The thing that helps me is just always remembering that I'm doing this to accomplish a dream and desire for a baby and in the end once that dream comes true all of these tests and waiting will be a thing of the past and mean nothing.

Hang in there!! We don't talk to people much about it either. Our baby girl had Trisomy 18, and my uterus isn't in the best shape. But we will take our chances and pray that it works out how we'd like it to.

And the HSG is uncomfortable at best. You'll do great!

I need that gentle reminder that we are doing this to get our miracle baby. That we are going through this so we can hopefully add another miracle or two to our family.

Thanks so much for the encouragement. I guess I am just nervous because this is just uncharted territory for us, you know?

the HSG is really pretty easy, and it's one of the easiest diagnostics. Added bonus is that for three cycles following you are usually considered more fertile because it tends to 'clean out the cobwebs' and a lot of people get their BFPs right away
