Our RE has a checklist of things that need to be done before we actually start cycling in preparation for transfer. I'm hoping that we can transfer by July (we are using frozen eggs).

DH & I are scheduled for April 17th to go to the DE class that our RE requires recipients to attend. We have to get a lot more bloodwork again...kind of like at the start of our IF journey. All the STDs, etc. I remember the last time (almost 2 years ago), they took 11 vials of blood from me! Good thing I'm now used to bloodwork and am a lot less squeemish than back then! We have to see the on-staff psychologist for approval too. There are other checklist items that I can't remember off the top of my head right now.

Anyway, it's been a long road for us and we've come to the conclusion that we want a pregnancy & a baby. I'm just happy that we're proceeding and getting closer to having a child of our own to love!

Mandy that is great. I am glad you are on the DE boat with me. I will be of any support that I can be. Hopefully this works and we can work through the trials of little ones wrecking our stuff up together!
I have a 14 year old. When he was 5 years old he practiced his spelling words at the kitchen table. He wrote so hard on the paper that it went through to my table. At first I was really mad - but then I realized it is awesome! Easter Sunday there were 12 of us at that same table including him. I looked and could see his spelling words still there. It brought joy to my heart. I can't wait for this DE to happen for you and you to be able to get the same joy in your heart. Keep your eye on the prize!

Thanks, Ladies! It took me some time to get used to the idea of DE. I've been working with a psychologist to get to the point that I am really excited about it!
I will find out more of our time table at the class, I guess. I am hoping that we can start sooner rather than later.
My RE uses My Egg Bank, so we get 6 frozen eggs for DH to fertlize. Hopefully, we get enough to transfer and freeze some.
I appreciate the well wishes.
