Update on me: Sorry to be always making it about me…

Stopped the Lupron today my ovaries are quiet and there is nothing there to ovulate with. My lining was 10.3C. Thickness is good but formation needs to be B or A for optimal implantation for my embies. Still on Delestrogen and Estrace pills.
Lining and Estradiol (E2)
3/31 8c E2 131
4/3 10.5c E2 303
4/4 13.2c/b E2? (will find out later)
Does anyone know what the Estradiol level should be? The nurse told me 1000 but I am pretty far away from that number.
Donor progressing well should trigger tomorrow night! They gave her the gift I gave to her this morning as she was in just after I left. I got her a pair of nice earrings and a little carton of eggs that are gum (got that idea from another DE recipient who just got her BFP) and a “Thank You” card. They said she loved the earrings and put them on and laughed at the eggs and opened them and ate a piece. Lol I sort of wish we could meet. I feel like I would have some more closure using DE if I could meet her. The clinic doesn’t like us to meet and wants us to keep it anonymous. DH prefers it to

Gretchen...that's super sweet of you to give a gift. My friend has been an egg donor & she got a "thank you" note once & that really touched her...I don't think she ever got a gift.

I am not sure what the E2 # should be, but I am stalking you in hopes that you'll prepare me a little bit more!

Can't wait to hear your reports.

Thanks guys! DH Doesn't know "we" bought her a gift. He wants to pretend she doesn't exist. Plus the money she is already getting should be enough in his mind. For me though - if we get a BFP and a take home baby I could never thank her enough. If we get a BFN I just might take the earrings back. lol jk

The card was really hard to fill out. There is so much you want to say but you have to keep it anonymous too. I didn't want to make it to personal either because I didn't want her to get emotional or attached to her eggs or our baby. I sat and looked at that card forever before I finally just said. " We thank you from the bottom of our hearts".

Melissa - do you remember the E2 number for your FET?

At my RE office once your BW and Lining is fine they tell you to start your 6 days of PIO and you don't come back to the clinic for anymore monitoring, you don't come back at all until it's time for the transfer. I just checked my patient portal, here is what is says
3/22/13
E2 431
LH 12.7
Progesterone <0.200
My Lining was 12.81

I didn't go back for any other testing after that and had my transfer 6 days later on 3/28

Gretchen, I don't know what my E2 number was for my FET, but my lining was only 7.5...my RE said, "let's round up to 8." I was pretty worried since my lining has always been an issue, but I guess it was okay after all

Oh my gosh that was super sweet of you to do that. I'm praying everything goes perfect and you get a snuggly little bean!!!

There's much to be said about doing a good deed. It may not seem like it but that small gesture from you, despite her getting paid, may make all the difference in the world to her.

until I rip them out of her ears if it doesn’t' work. haha! I am kidding ! I swear, I think. lol I suppose this is why the clinic likes it to be anonymous.

Clinic just called me - we both have to go back again tomorrow. I bet she will trigger tomorrow so that puts us at Sunday retrieval. Three days in a row blood work is starting to take a toll on my little vein they use. Acupunture tonight..

What a very sweet and thoughtful gesture to do that for her! I could understand not wanting to know her, but I more understand where you're coming from. I would want to hug her and tell her thank you and meet her, and LIKE her.

I'm so crazy excited for you too!!! I can't believe it's finally so close for you!!!

There is a nice parking lot right across the street from the RE office I could park in and try and get a peek.. :

The hormones are making me creepy!
