After all the bleeding....
4th beta 666 (this draw was after 3 days not the normal 2 days since Sunday the lab isn't open)

I'm still bleeding bright red. He wants another beta Wednesday and then he wants to see me in his office to touch base about everything. I'm leaving Saturday for vacation to Arizona, so hopefully we'll know more about what's going on. He said he is concerned about all the bleeding though and its still up in the air what could happen. Thanks for all the prayers and kind words! You ladies are the best!

Whats a SCH? I think my numbers are to low for an ultrasound. I think it needs to be 1500 or higher to see anything and mine was at 666 Monday. I go back tomorrow for another blood draw. I'll see what he says.

SCH or Subchorionic Hematoma is a gathering of blood between the membranes of the placenta and the uterus. A more technical name is the chorion. Some doctors will also just refer to it as a blood clot.

I had one with my last pregnancy...I had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks after I had bleeding twice. The ultrasound showed a pool of blood which was about the size of the sac. I had bleeding again at 11 weeks and 16 weeks, at 16 weeks the bleeding was so heavy I thought for sure I was miscarrying. It wasnt until my ultrasound at 16 weeks did the doctor tell me that the pool of blood was actually a SCH.

Here is some info on SCH.
