I am a teacher, which means lots of female drama in my work place. On the 4th grade team at school each of the women teaching have been pregnant this year. The last few days there have been some hushed questioning on if I am pregnant. I even heard one person comment that since our hallway in school seemed to be so fertile they wouldn't be suprised (don't we all wish that hanging out near a pregnant person made us more fertile!) One person asked me and I started crying because I could only wish. I only have 2 more days before summer break so I really hope no one else asks me because I just started my new meds and I cannot keep the tears in if my life depended on it!

((HUGS)). I'm sorry you're dealing with all that drama and pressure. I wish being around preggers worked too!

I'm so sorry you are dealing with all that pressure. A couple more days and you will be able to relax! I wish people wouldn't say things like that... Must be something in the water, or just relax... It will happen. It just drives me crazy and I want to b**ch slap someone that does! Hope the next two days are easy to deal with. Don't let them get to you. Hugs.

I totallllllly understand. We have the joke at work that "if you just drink the water"...because everyone's so danm fertile...apparently they are hiding the water fountain in some locked closet where I can't get to it. lol.

People ought to really have their brain-mouth-filter-thingies switched on at birth and left on. Absolutely amazes me what people feel is appropriate to say.

Hang in there... Two days is a blip on the radar!

I completely understand how you feel. I am also a teacher and there was a huge "baby boom" at my school for the past two years. When IVF finally worked for us everyone was going around saying "oh you drank the water too" and it just really hurt me because I wanted to scream NO! I fought hard for my babies and suffered watching everyone else around get pregnant.

At least you are so close to summer break and hopefully you can get away from it all and keep the drama out of your life.

I'm sorry you had to put up with that. Some people just dont think before they speak. Other people will never understand unless they or someone theyre close too has been through ttc

Thanks! It feels so good coming here and knowing people will understand my frustration. My DH tries really hard but he can only get so much of it. He has luckly even found a guy on his FD who he can talk to about this because they have been through it too.
