Hey Ladies

I just wanted to give everyone an update, I just spoke with the Pharmaceutical Company "Freedom Fertility" and I have 3 medications that will be delivered on June 7th....Follistim Inj, Ovidrel Inj, & Crinone 8% (Progesterone Gel)....So I have to give myself 2 injections and a gel that is used vaginally. Yikes!!! But I am excited

Forgive me if you posted this previously, but how do you get them to give you meds? Did you have to send them test results?

From what I know my doctor's office does all the work they show the company and my insurance company that I did Clomid 6x, Femara 2x, and unknown infertility. And they covered it. So there's a prescription with 3 refills.

How exciting I hope this is the beginning of your BFP cycle

I used Freedom Fertility, too, for my FET. The people were really helpful and sweet, and their service was excellent. My RE called in everything for me, and all I had to do was call when I needed refills.

They also have great step-by-step videos of injections you can watch to psych yourself up if you need it

I am in Colorado too Which part if you do not mind me asking? We are planning out what we are suppose to do if Clomid/Trigger do not work. I am using University Colorado Hospital in Aurora/Denver and all the military insurance/fertility coverage is so confusing

I am in Aurora at Buckley AFB How exactly does the process with Tricare and meds work? If my hospital pharmacy has them it is still covered if TI, right? I did not know if I am suppose to be using a pharmacy like you are if the time comes for injectibles (yes I plan way too much lol)... I guess my RE will have the answers BUT I prefer the advice of the BTDT girls

I used Freedom too for my meds with IVF and FET. I loved them! Excellent and friendly service, and they ship meds next day. Good luck on your cycle!

Tricare will cover EVERYTHING for TI cycles, no matter where you get the meds. A lot of the injectables are specialty items that most pharmacies don't carry, so that is why most of us end up going thru Freedom Fertility or someplace like that.

Also just a reminder, once you get pregnant, Tricare will cover EVERYTHING again. Betas, u/s, progesterone support, etc. is all covered under "early pregnancy monitoring/support."
