1st beta 43
2nd beta 99
3rd beta 192
4th beta 666 (this draw was after 3 days not the normal 2 days since Sunday the lab isn't open)
5th beta 862

It didn't double or even come close. He said with all the bleeding I've been having since Friday plus the number not rising as it should, I'm miscarrying. I thought I prepared myself for this because of all the blood but with my number rising I guess there was a little hope deep down that this baby was going to stick. He wants me to stop the progesterone and I go back Friday for an blood draw to see if it's going down. I leave Saturday for vacation so he wants to rule out ectopic before I go.

I found out I was pregnant about two weeks ago with my fifth child, I was so excited only to have a miscarriage on May 9th. It was terrible, the car I was in fell in a pot hole , then couple blocks down the line I felt a gush went straight to my obgyn said it didnt look good . Did ultrasound it was too late. It was terrible I lost a lot of blood. I almost died. I don't think I will be goin back.
Was in the hospital for 4days and I was just 7wks 5dys along. I'm so distraught and my boys wanted a sister.

I am sorry But I would think with a higher number it would still be ok...Can you request a 6th beta to see if the numbers or rising still? I know sometimes the doubling time is not always 48 hours.. I am thinking of you

I am so sorry. It sucks when your numbers string you along like that. I think it would be easier to see a definitive answer of them going down than to see them go up but not near enough. I'm sorry you have to go through this, especially right before vacation.
