Appointment today wasn't the best.
When I went on Monday I had 2 follicles, but now I am down to just 1. And it only went from an 8 to 10mm.
Estrodial dropped from 124 to 48 and my LH went from 13.4 to 12.3.

I think this cycle is a bust, but they want me to come in on Memorial Day for one more monitoring appointment and then we'll talk about upping my Clomid to 200mg.
Not excited for that. 150mg made me sick enough, not sure how well I'll tolerate 200mg.

Sigh- just a disappointing day.

Why not switch to injectables at this point?

I agree with lash. I want to ask are you seeing an RE or an OB? My opinion (I'm not a specialist!) is that you need a different intervention, clomid is not the way to go. There's other stuff out there!
Good luck.

I'm seeing an RE- I think he wants to try the 200mg because with my DS I was on 100mg, didn't respond well, went to the 150mg, and did great, had the IUI and got lucky that it worked.
I wonder if they're hoping that the Clomid on top of Clomid will do the trick again?
Is that weird/dumb? Especially with the crappy side effects I have? Should I be asking to move straight to injectibles?

WWMMAG's do? (What would my MA girls do)

I agree with the other ladies, between the side effects and possible lining issues, I wouldn't do 200mg of clomid. I would ask about injectables.
Good luck hun!!

I agree... If you aren't responding well to Clomid then why keep trying. Sounds like you need a step up to the injectables. I would certainly mention it to your RE... Especially considering the bad side effects you get... And it's your body/your choice.

Good luck and I hope next cycle is better!
