Today's appointment went very well in my opinion! I talked to my dr about everything. She honestly thinks that BCP are not my problem anymore. I'm going on 7 months off the pill and I've yet to have a period on my own (without provera). She offered clomid or femara to me and said I could try it for a few cycles before getting a hsg. She thinks we should see what happens when I actually ovulate before we move on to more tests, which I completely agree with. I know a lot of you think I should wait it out longer before trying drugs, but I opted for clomid, because I feel like waiting months and months won't solve anything. I started provera today and I will take clomid days 3-7 and have a 7dpo blood draw. I am very excited about this cycle and I have so much hope!

It sounds like a good plan, and as long as you are happy with it and good with it, that's what counts.

Will your doctor be monitoring you on the clomid? any ultrasounds or anything?

Not this round, she just wants to see what will happen if I ovulate. Of course if I wanted to be monitored she would hear me out, but id rather see what this cycle brings first. If it's unsuccessful, I'll definitely consider it for the next time. I really think my body wants to O... I get all the signs of O, but my hormones aren't strong enough. I feel like great things will happen if I O, haha
