My nurse just called me. She has to call me back with my estrogen and progesterone numbers, but she had my beta & wanted to call right away...

Beta = 300!!!

She told me that they like to see 50! My heart was pounding and I teared up when she told me. If I was at my old office (& not this totally quiet office I got transferred to), I would have screamed!!!

She is calling me back later with my E2 and Progesterone levels. She said that my RE put a "stat" on the beta & she wanted to call me right away when she had the results! When she calls me back, I'll remember to ask what I do next! I was just so excited and my heart was pounding that I couldn't think of anything to say!!!

OMG, that is an awesome number

Can I put in another vote for twins?

It has been amazing to follow your journey, Mandy. Thank you so much for sharing it with us! So many women here and lurkers who we'll never meet have learned so much from your experiences and gained courage to talk about things like donor eggs. And I'm so thrilled that you are finally seeing that BFP. WOOHOO!!!

I am 14dpo, Gretchen. What do you think? Am I on the border of twins??? I have prayed for a baby for so long that I'm happy with one baby...if it's two then I'll take it!

Melissa...that post makes me cry! (May be it's the hormones.) I never thought that I'd be at this point. I never thought I'd need IUI or IVF let alone DE. I never thought that trying to have a baby would have me in a psychologist's office for months. I am so happy to be pregnant right now that I can't even tell you how hard my heart is beating and how badly I want to shout it out to everyone I see!!! My journey has been filled with disappointments and sadness, but it's all worth it to have the nurse call me and tell my I have a beta of 300!!!

All of you ladies here at TTCMA have helped me through this journey! The knowledge, the encouragement, the support is truly amazing. I couldn't ask for better friends here!!!

I go for bloodwork again on Friday. The nurse said that she didn't know yet when my first u/s will be but that it's soon! She didn't tell me my progesterone # or my estrogen # and just said that they are good. I am to keep taking my Estrace 3x per day, my prenatal vitamin and my PIO shots at night. Now, I have to wait until Friday to see what's going on!!!

Congrats!!!

It could be twins... hard to tell. My hcg at 12dpo was 102 and at 15dpo was 462, and I just have one little baby in there.

......and my first u/s only showed one sac but my second u/s 3 days later there was 2.

To this day BABY B is still measuring 3 days behind BABY A. So don't be surprised if they only find one the first u/s..... with nice beta like that I am seriously placing my money on twins

Ahhhh...Gretchen! I am feeling so blessed to be pregnant! We have prayed and hoped for a baby! If there is only one, we're over the moon...if there are 2, then we'll be surprised and doubly over the moon! I don't want to tell DH that there is a good chance with that number that there could be 2 because all along he keeps telling me that his intuition says 2 boys!!! I don't want him to get his hopes up.
I'm nervous for Friday now! I need to see that beta double!
