Everything looks good. There is one sack. The RE could see the yolk sack too. She said everything looks great. I can't wait to find out my beta number later. I'll update with a pic when I get home tonight.

Sorry for the glare.

I go back next Friday! I guess Friday will be my day. They told me I'll come weekly until about 10-12 weeks when I get released to the OBGYN. It's during early morning monitoring, so I'll update you ladies nice and early.

Gretchen...Did you tell me they saw one sack at your 5w appointment and then 2 at your 6w??? I think I remember you saying that.

Believe me, after all of this...I'm happy to be pregnant and see a perfectly good little sack in there! I'm in love with the baby already! We'll see what next week brings!

I wasn't going to say anything, but yes...that happened to me. At 5w1d we saw 1 sac and the RE that did the scan thought it was too small and wasn't encouraged. At 6w4d we had two sacs, two babies, and two heartbeats! It isn't uncommon at all that one bean is ahead of the other, and at this early stage, a few days can make a big difference in what you are able to see with the ultrasound.

I'm 5w2d today. I'm just going to relish in the fact that I have one little baby to love and we'll see what happens next Friday. Of course, I'm interested in my beta from this morning too.
