Well the witch showed up in the middle of the night so today we are back to CD1.

I was only 10dpo yesterday (possibly 11 depending when I O'ed after the trigger). That's too soon, right? Does this mean I have a luteal phase issue?

Totally bummed but not surprised ... I've felt AF coming for a few days.

Trying to stay positive but it just plain sucks . . .

Rats...I'm so sorry that awful had to show up

I'm not sure about the short luteal phase...definitely ask your doc. Maybe upping your progesterone or doing HCG boosters would help?

Thanks, Melissa.

I've emailed her to discuss this cycle's protocol including triggering sooner and about the luteal phase thing.

It really was our first official cycle TTC'ing with MA in almost 5 years so I'm trying not to be too disappointed and look at it as the trial run.

The only good thing about it is I can now enjoy a few drinks at my bbq this weekend ... I never drink but friend makes a wicked tropical coconut rum martini. :-)

Glad you are seeing the silver lining

My RE used to tell me that there was no such thing as a completely failed cycle as long as you learned something that would help for the next cycle. Let us know when you find out the play for next time!

Thanks, all.

We'll be doing Femara (Letrozole) CD 3 - 7 again. I go in on CD14 to check follies and will trigger that day if all looks good. She will put me on progesterone to help with the luteal phase as well.

So we have a solid plan at least which makes me feel better. Knowing I have a scan on Aug. 26 gives me a date to look forward too. :-) Who would have ever thought vaginal ultrasounds would be something exciting. LOL.
