Hi everyone!

We had our nuchal scan yesterday. We didn't get any results yet. She said that they really like to have the blood tests together with the measurements to give a full picture, so we'll have to wait about a week.

We did get to watch our little guy for a bit, and get good pictures though! He was kicking and moving and waving and twisting

Hb was 173, measuring right at 13 weeks, and crown to rump length was 6.84 cm - almost 3 whole inches of baby body!

Our tech was awesome and sweet, and she tried for a gender guess, but one angle looked like boy, one like girl, so we are still undecided (I have a boy feeling though).

So no results or gender, but was just wonderful to see things moving and growing!

DEFINITELY. I can't wait. If I could have known at conception, it would not have been soon enough!

How are you feeling by now?
I'm actually feeling really good most days! The nausea was bad up until last week. I'm mostly tired, and sometimes very dizzy.

Looks great, Susan! I hope the 2nd trimester is better for you than the first. Yay for March babies!

I just scheduled my nucheal scan yesterday. It's on 9/9/13. I have to do the blood thing at home and mail it into the lab. Is that what you did? They told me that if I mail it in by 8/27, the results will be ready at my scan appointment.

Love the ultrasound pics!!! You got some great pics. I had an ultrasound this past Friday and my little peanut didn't really hold still much. It also didn't help any that the ultrasound tech seemed to be in a rush to get it done so I only got 2 pics and they weren't that great

They have you take your own blood at home?? That is odd. I hope you do get results fast!

Mandy - do they know you are DE? My OB only did the u/s scan and not the blood work for my NT test. Said that the test wouldn't be accurate because of DE.

sorry -susan -not meaning to hi-jack your post... I am glad your test was all good news!
