Anyone have any issues with their GALLBLADDER?. I had heartburn (or so I thought) for over 20 hours the night of my transfer GAAAH! to the next afternoon on Wed...and now I have a sore feeling between my bbs below my ribs.

I thought it was heartburn, but tums, 2 zantac, apple cider vinegar, baking soda, nothing worked. I finally took an expired Omeprazole, and 5 hours later started to feel better Wed Afternoon. My mom has had her gallbladder out and was questioning this because of the length of my episode.

It says losing weight (check), estrogen therapy (started the day it happened) and progesterone therapy (started 5 days earlier) can irritate it AND we had greasy pizza hut pizza that night, which I've not been having greasy food. I just don't want to believe this is happening. I was worried that because I was in so much pain and my body was stressed out that it's going to negatively impact this cycle.

I've now had this dull ache between my bbs and a little lower, by my ribs all Thursday and today. Does this sound like GB issues? Or am I just a freak??

I haven't had heartburn in a REALLY long time. I had it a day after I started Progesterone, when I didn't even have any embabies in me, so I blamed the progesterone at the time, but it wasn't bad. On Tues/Wed, it was VERY uncomfortable. Thoughts?

I know when I had my gallbladder problems, I had pain in the front and in my back. It was one of the worst pains I have felt. I am not sure if it is your gallbladder, but it might be worth having a dr look at, especially if it comes back

My gall bladder pain was more to the side and radiated through my back. I tried some random cure from the internet (I forget what it was lol) and felt better the next morning.

My acid attacks.. are between my BB's up under my ribs. They can be hell to get rid of, and sometimes all you can do is wait them out. I have a friend who had them her entire 3rd trimester, ended up in L&D twice because she just couldn't take it anymore. Makes me worry for my future 3rd trimester if not pregnant I have so many issues with heartburn/acid attacks :/

I've been on prilosec for ages.. hoping something new I'm trying will help wean me off. I'll be zantac dependent during pregnancy since I can't take anything calcium based (kidney stone risk)

I hope that the pain doesn't come back *hugs*

I hope it gets better soon, Leah. I hope your body can adjust to this new "normal" of hormones and that everything is okay.

See what happens when you cheat on Paleo (Just kiddin')

SERIOUSLY! My other Paleo friend said the same thing hahaa. When she has wheat she gets heartburn.

I did call the Dr, because I didn't know if I should go to urgent care. She said since it wasn't radiating in my shoulder (it was in my back), she wasn't sure. She said if it didn't subside by 24 hours to go to urgent care. It did stop a few hours shy of that, so I didn't go in.

I will go in if it happens again, I was just curious if anyone else had it and the pain/where/intensity they had.

Plan4fate, I too, have kidney stones...so if I have issues, that is good to know. Thanks. This sounds like one of your acid attacks.

It doesn't sound like gall bladder. You normally would feel pain on the right side under your ribs. It can be irritated by protein, grains, high fat.

The abdomen is funny because you can have what is called referred pain. That's pain caused by one location felt in another - like the shoulder tip pain.

It sounds like a nasty case of stomach acid, especially if the omeprazole helped. Try avoid greasy food, caffeine, over processed foods for the time being.

I had my gallbladder removed 3 years ago. All my pain was right in the middle between my bbs but below them and between my ribs in the front.

I would have an attack about once every 6 months that would last a few hours. Then it got to about once every 3 months and would last 8 hours. Then the attack got severe enough that I went to the hospital. They found sludge but not stones. I tried to control it with diet but that didn’t work at all. I eventually got attacks every day after eating or drinking anything at all. I would work, eat a late lunch, get home by 5:00 just in time for my attack to start. I would take Oxy (good stuff) and sleep and do it again the next day. I did that for about 2 weeks before they took the sucker out! All my pain was always right in between my ribs in the front. I would also have a little diarrhea (sorry) with it as well.
Since it’s been removed – I can eat and do whatever I want. I have never had any issues with NOT having a gall bladder.
I have said several times, thank GOD I don’t have one because that leaves these twins just a little more room in there! Lol
With you just having your transfer I am praying if that was your gallbladder it doesn’t come back again for a long time. Don’t be afraid the attack messed up implantation. The day after my implantation I got a severe cold and coughed so hard for a week straight. I would have bet I was shaking those little embabies loose. I didn’t though and neither did your attack hurt anything either!  k?

My heartburn does feel similar as both radiate to my back but my gallbladder felt lower.
I did manage to keep in under control for a while through diet tho until I had it removed.
If it happens again I would just go in! An u/s should give you answers and at least ease your mind!

What crumby timing! I'm sorry!

I'm so sorry you're having pain...blah (((hugs)))!!

I have gastritis which is just like what you're describing and it gets worse during pg. I take Nexium throughout my pg and for 6months postpartum.

BCP, progesterone, acidic foods, coffee, nsaids (including ld aspirin), and gluten make it much worse.

My dr suspected gallbladder too but my sono was normal.
