Leah, I took a 400 mg CoQ10 twice a day for a total of 800 mg, a 200 mg Alpha Lipoic Acid twice a day for a total of 400 mg, generic prenatal vitamins and baby aspirin after transfer.

I don't know much about diet, I just tried to eat less junk food this time around. I also had zero wine, where as before I had a few glasses a week up until stims.

My RE said he was going to do the *exact* same protocol as the one where I got pregnant with Khloe. I did Follistim in the AM and Menopur in the PM and added Ganirelix on cd 8. My RE has published research on the benefits of using menopur in a cycle.

My embryologist has told me from day one that my eggs aren't great quality. She said I baffle her as to how they grow to blast because of their not-so-great appearance early on. They've encouraged me this time and last cycle to put back three embryos and this time I listened.

I have no clue why some cycles work and others don't. I had actually been talking to Karen at the Houston Fertility Institute about participating in the Thrive study. It's for women with three failed IVF cycles. I was glad to know I at least had that option if this cycle didn't work for me.

I know you're desperate for answers, and I don't blame you for one second!! Do you like your RE? Are his success numbers good? Is changing clinics an option? I told my DH that if this cycle didn't work, it was time to move on. Nothing against my RE because I actually love him and his office staff a lot, but I just thought maybe another Dr. would do something different. I also had donor eggs on my mind as something to seriously consider.

I'm so impressed by your positive attitude and healthy lifestyle. I just know you can give Mallory a brother or sister, it just may take a little extra something. Please PM me if you ever want to talk or if I can answer any other questions for you. Not that I am the picture of success, but I'm happy to help any way I can.

Big hugs honey!!!
