All done and home. At my sono Saturday, I had 15 good sized follicles. My revival was set for 1030 this morning (i did my trigger Saturday might at 1030). I arrived at 910 today, they didn't even take me back for the pre op until 1015! I didn't go back to the OR until 1140. I only ended up with 2 mature follicles. Is it possible I ovulated most on my own and they missed then??? I am so upset and depressed right now. I feel like I went through all of this for nothing. I know it only takes 1, but I feel like I will be lucky if I get 1 to survive to transfer

(((HUGS))) I'm sorry...I know you had hopes for much better news.

Two mature follies or two mature eggs? Follies can look great on u/s, but when they get in there the follies can be empty or contain immature eggs. I think if you had ovulated already they would be able to tell that.

I hope those two eggies are the perfect two for your BFP!

I had 15 mature looking follies, but only ended up with 2 mature eggs. She said something about dinner of them being too far away to get to.

There is a chance they were immature and hard to reach because of that

oh that's a bummer to only get two after so many looked like they might make it! I really hope you get lucky and get your bfp from these little eggies anyway!

Lucy - I didn't think to ask what my level was. They did the blood draw yesterday morning. When she called me yesterday afternoon, she said everything looked great! When the RE came to see me afterwards today, she said my estrogen was a little lower than she would have liked. Not really sure which is true now and I was still too groggy to truly comprehend anything and ask any questions when she told me.

Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers. I'm trying to stay hopeful right now, but it is really hard. I just know the odds aren't in our favor with so few retrieved. I guess the next few days will tell the tale.

I would find out what your E2 was for sure... And what size follicles there were. Maybe there was alead follicle and that's why they triggered too early? But they should have scrapped the cycle and not done the ER.
I don't know... I am somewhat new to IVF but I haven;t heard of something like this happening without it being the REs error.
I hope though it all works out and you can be a break the odds story!
