I am sitting in the waiting room. I have ALOT of follicles. But they are the right size. I am just waiting for my blood work because if my estrogen is too high then there will be no transfer. I am very upset and am hoping this works in my favor.

Hey Girl....hang in there. It sounds like you have a LOT of great follies, so that is fantastical, right???? If, by chance, you do develop OHSS, you are at greater risk of it if you get preggers, so you need to take care of YOU. And if you do have all those follies, they will freeze the best of the best and worst case senario if you do develop OHSS is that you will do a frozen transfer in a month or so.

FET's are SUPER easy on the body. I had 3 appts total, and that included the transfer. Hang in there sweetie! If you don't have a fresh transfer, it doesn't mean you won't get preggers...look at Lucy!!

I know this isn't how you thought it would go, but you have a boatload of awesome eggies ((HUGS))...and I know, personally, how things can change quickly with IVF...so you NEVER know

Thanks girls! It turns out that I get to do the retrieval on Friday and transfer next Wednesday!!! I am so excited. I have 23 follies on the left and 32 on the right. My estrogen of course went up more but not enough to cancel the transfer. I do have to take another pill (can't remember what it is called), but I think it is to help with the OHSS. And I also have to take double the progesterone after the retrieval. I am beyond excited. I have been waiting a long time (well not as long as some of you others) for this and I am going to just try to remain call and pray hard that hopefully in a couple weeks I will know if I am preggers or not.

With OHSS, your body tries to pull fluids away from the rest of your body and around your ovaries. Gatorade will keep you hydrated. Also eat lots of protein, as that can help, too. So glad things are looking good...keep us posted

How about PowerAde? Will that do the trick? Gatorade is too sugary for me

Gatorade is too sugary for me too....I watered it down. - I also found coconut water has the electrolites you need (like gatorade) but it's natural and has no HF Corn syrup....Powerade will do the job too You just need the salt and fluid.

I was gonna say you best get hydrated and get some protein in you!! Do you like protein shakes? If you get OHSS and then get PG it will get worse and you may end up in the hospital to be drained. I would do some research so you know what to expect and demand the treatment you need (should you need it). Good luck sweetie!!

Wow, that's alot of follicles!!! There's got to be a couple of superstar embryos in all of that! I'm so glad that you get to go ahead with the transfer too . Hopefully you can keep the OHSS at bay!

DH: Severe MFI (low counts, low motility, poor morphology and high antibodies), likely caused by poor liver function. Treated with Clomid to increase total counts.

DD: Conceived after 1 year of TTC with progesterone to correct LPD (likely caused by undiagnosed thyroid dysfunction). Born Aug 2009 via c/s after an induction due to pre-e and HELLP.

TTC #2 since Oct10 with an early loss in Aug 2011. Post-wash counts are too low for IUI to be successful, so moving on to IVF/ICSI in May 2014!

IVF/ICSI #1 (May 2014): Estrogen priming and antagonist protocol, including acupuncture and prayer!

03/06/14 - All embryos have arrested. None to freeze
