this was my first cycle on it..i had very little side effects if any...just an occasional hot flash here and there within the first 2 weeks..i did indeed ovulate while taking it and im currently 7dpo and waiting to test. Ovulex is supposed to work as a fertilizer for your body and help regulate your cycle. It will not over work or trick your ovaries. its all natural.here is some more info and a link from their site

I know this is a little late but I wanted to comment about the Ovulex ...

Before we started seeing Infertility Specialists, I tried the Fertiliaid (which is all natural, too) and it did nothing for me at all. I've heard good & bad stories about the Ovulex AND Fertilaid, and when I started seeing the specialist, they commented that it actually can hurt you even worse because it's not regulated, etc.

Just my 2 cents .... Good luck to you both, though!

Thanks you letting me know what happened to you I to have had bad news regarding Ovulex you see it's really more a problem on my husband side that causes us problems which in some ways is worse than if it were me. We started taking the ovulex in september and straight away things went wrong I had hot flushes and didnt ovulate untill day 21-22 which was making my cycle 40 days long also my husband who was taking the male tablet had really cold hands and feet and it made him so emontional which was so dificault so after this month of things not going well and after 7 years of trying we went back to the doctors who as told us to stop taking these tablets as they have been linked with liver failure and also told us to take a couple of months off baby making to give us a rest . it's really hard I feel so stupid for trying these but after trying for so long and 3 ivf attempts all with big fat negatives at the end It's like you'll try anything just to have some hope but I guess it's time for us to face up to the fact we will never have a child of our own .

I just wish something could be done to stop companies like this selling false hope to couples.

Anyway thanks for the reply sorry to go on

Good luck to you and merry christmas

The doctor told me I wasn't ovulating right after I lost Avery, so I bought the Ovulex.
I conceived on my first month of Ovulex - only to miscarry very early.
I took a break and am now on my second week of Ovulex - I'm ovulating now and hope for another +HPT for New Year's!!!

Your message says hubby is trying stuff too.
I just thought I would pop in and see if anyone had mentioned Geritol to you.
I understand it is a big help to the swimmers (kwim)?
I hope you guys find something that helps...and sending dust for that baby you've been hoping for!!!

(And a quick note...
they told me for over 20 years that I couldn't get pregnant...COULDN'T.
Avery was unplanned, unexpected, and quite a surprise to everyone in my life.
I did learn that God does things in His time, not necessarily ours!
I'll be 45 in April and refuse to give up...I don't usually do the cheer-leader type stuff, but
I know that life has many surprises....

I'm here if you ever need a shoulder to lean on or an ear to bend.
Hugs!
Dawna

The Dr. I talked with at our first visit with Infertility Specialists said the Ovulex and Fertilaid caused liver damage and did something to your uterus. (I can't remember exactly, as that was months ago, lol) Either way, if you find it working for you, I say continue with it but if you are unsure then I would get a Dr's opinion first!

Geritol I hear works but it's real nasty, lol .... and I believe it has to be the liquid! (see, I research everything, LOL) Either way, it's going to happen for you both! ((( Hugs ))) Stay strong!!! You both are in my prayers!!

Hey girls! I will contact my friend in a moment and find out exactly which brand and kind of Vitex she used. The Fertility Blend is a lot like Fertiliaid and Ovulex, so I am not sure if it'll be worth the money or not!

I'll let you girls know something soon!!
