Hi ladies! This is my first post on JM. We've been TTC #1 for 2 years now. I'm being treated for Hashimoto's disease. I may have a blocked tube but not sure yet, can't get in to see my doctor for a month. I had a HSG test a week ago. I seem to o every month, though erratically, so doctors put me on Clomid and Novarel injections this last month to help with timing. Hubby has been trying to get into have his sperm checked (busy clinic) but I think he's fine as we did conceive last year, but ended up losing that pg at 8 weeks because I have a lousy endocrinologist, long story. The battle has been tough but I'm still trying to think positive.

On another note the HSG was SO painful, and I hurt for at least a week after. Did anyone else have this? Hurt, as in I couldn't walk or even stand up. Maybe it was the Clomid? I can't get in to see my doctor, wish I could ask her!

Anyway, wishing you all happy healthy babies soon!

Welcome to JM!

What CD did you start taking the Clomid? What CD did you have the HSG? Did hte 2 overlap? It's quite possible you were pretty tender from a combination of the two. Generally HSG's only cause real discomfort while the procedure is being done - so......adding the Clomid to the mix just made it a bit wrose than normal!

Godd Luck on your TTC journey!

Clomid was cd 5-9, and HSG was cd 10. Maybe that is too close. Anyway I feel better now so I guess it's nothing to worry about!

Welcome to the board. I am sorry to hear about your loss. I have not had an HSG so I am no help on how they feel. There are lots of ladies here who have had them though. Good Locuk TTC!
