Hi all,

I am in a rush...but was wondering if anyone have gone thru IVF's and did short lupron protocol..I am scheduled for a Dec IVF, but our clinic will only take us if af shows by dec4th, last 2 weeks they are closed.

Ok, so here is the story, i have not yet gotten nov af, so chances that dec af will show up on or before dec 4th is rare to none-i used to be like a clock work but ever since i started these treatments i do fluctuate a bit on my periods. So anyway, if best case scenario i get my af today or tomorrow (i am on short lupron protocol this time), then i can get my day 1 blood work done and start lupron, then whole next week i am out of country (12-18th), i can continue my visits after I am back to US from my trip-i can take my medications while i am traveling-no problem-but do you think the clinic will take me in for nov IVF if i know i am going to miss 1 week of visitation, i am not sure how often will i have to go for either blood work or u/s during my absence? Any insight will help me...i so much want to get into IVF cycle in 2006 so i can use my insurance money for 2006...has anyone missed their appointments either knowingly or unknowlingly then what happened-did they abandon the cycle or just continued?thanks
