I'm CD3-7 , research indicates that if Clomid is taken earlier, it may result in more pregnancies. Something I read stated that a study showed that no participants who were taking the Clomid CD5-9 had a pregnancy, yet, those that took it eariler (cd1-5) 24% became pregnant.

I take clomid 100mg 3-7. My doctor said taking it 3-7 helps you make more then one egg. 5-9 is for making the one egg stronger.

I take 50 mg days 5-9. Taking it earlier is supposed to produce more eggs, where as taking it later (days 5-9) is supposed to produce fewer but more mature eggs. Both times I have taken it I have had more than one egg ready for ovulation. I know this because my dr has me go for ultrasounds every other day around O.

This cycle I had two eggs ready to ovulate on day 14 and then I had a trigger shot. I am in the 2WW now so we will see what happens.

I'm with you Alexa...CD 5-9 here, and I have ultrasounds all the time, as well as the trigger shot on the 30th of October. I'm on CD 27, period is due on the 16th, so we'll see

Just wanted to wish you luck. Going through Clomid and the trigger shot is not easy. My hormones get kind of wacky. My fingers are crossed that we both get our BFP's in a few days. My AF is due on the 13th.

I tested yesterday. I am pretty sure I was 13 DPO yesterday and I got a BFN on an internet cheapie. So, I'm not feeling too positive, but I may test in the am with FMU if my temp is still up or goes higher.
