Has anyone had thyroid testing? I'm having thyroid tested, glucose testing and one other-I can't remember it. My new dr said she wasn't going to test for progesterone. She feels it doesn't help. She gave me a full explaination-so I guess I agree for now. I read the notes about the glucose testing. I need to take the full day and do it?
Back to my question-what's the outcome of the thyroid testing? What will we do from there? It's a new dr and she wasn't very perky so I didn't feel very comfortable yet, I forgot to ask things.

I have had it done, but it came back normal. I know that your thyroid can effect how your body processes hormones and sugars, which in turn effect TTC and caring a baby. I guess if they did find there was a problem they could start you on a medication to help. A lot of ladies take Metphormin for problems with glucose and it helps with their cycles a lot.
I don't know if you have already had it done, but I would suggest having CD 3 bloodwork where they check FSH, LH and estridol and then 7 DPO having your progesterone checked. These tests usually give alot of useful info about your cycle, ovulation and hormone balance.
