My doctors office just called and they want to squeeze me in for both procedure on Monday the 27th. Otherwise I would be waiting until January. The problem is that I will probably be on day 4 of my cycle, do you know if they can still do the procedures?

will that be close to the end of your period? If that is the HSG I know they like for you to not be bleeding but if they say it's ok than I guess it's ok. You also need to take a round of antibiotics. Did you get that?

I have a pre-surgery appointment tomorrow with my family doctor. The secretary of my OBGYN said that she would ask him if it was going to be a problem. If it was she was going to call back, if it wasn't then I wouldn't hear from her, so far she hasn't called me. The first 2 days are normally the heaviest for bleeding. My cycle is usually about 6 or 7 days long.

HSGs are done after you are done with your bleeding. They will occasionally run the dye if you are at the end of your period and have light bleeding. I would double check with your doctor to make sure they don't want you to wait until the end of your period.

Well the thing is that they are doing both procedures in one shot, I will be completely under. I don't know if that makes a difference or not but I didn't get a phone call which means everything is a go! I am so super excited!! I have to have everything done at the hospital and the doc wants me off work for a week! Finally something is happening...we are finally moving forward!
