I just started my first round of Clomid this morning. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, but I think it will be worth it if it gets us what we want!!

Anyone else just starting? Anything I should know? All the info on this board has been really helpful, but I guess it's better to have someone to "go through it with" if you kwim! If anyone wants a cycle buddy, let me know!

Kelly

Hey there -

I don't start it until mid-month but I wanted to wish you luck. Keep us updated with any side effects you have or how its going.

Good luck and I hope you get your BFP!!

Thanks Jodi!

I'm on the lookout for side effects and I warned my husband that I might be moody, but we'll see. Now I'm trying to decide if I can just use the Clomid as an excuse to be "b*tchy" even if I don't really feel it?? lol

Good luck. I just finished my last dose on Sunday night and I'm hoping to O this weekend. This was my 1st cycle on clomid, and so far I really don't have any s/e's, then again, I took the my dose around bedtime so I could sleep off the potential s/e's.

Keep us posted. There's a thread started for those of us who started clomid this cycle and you're more than welcome to join us and share!

Thanks Nykoal!

I'll look for the thread and see if I have anything to add!

Kellybe - that's a good idea about using it as an excuse; especially with such a stressful time coming up for all of us! The Holidays!

Nykoal - I'm going to try and take mine at night too. That way anything funky will happen in the 8 hours a night I sleep. I HOPE! I'm sure some of the lingering side effects of crankiness could linger a bit...

I wonder if anyone notices that after the 5 days they take it if the s/e start to fade pretty quickly? Or is it the type of pill to have the s/e linger?

I'm not sure...since I got away this cycle with hardly any s/e's I'm probably not the best person to answer. I wonder what everybody else had experienced.

I'm on my second Clomid cycle right now. My s/e were hot flashes, headaches, slight cramping and mood swings. I wanted to wish you good luck!

I'm only on day three now, but so far, so good. I haven't really had any s/e. I was a bit testy yesterday, but I think it was only because my computer at work was giving me crap and I wanted to throw it out the window.

I will be starting it *hopefully* in about a week... Im supposed to go cd 5-9 but I still have to wait for this cycle to end and AF to arrive. She tends to lag.
