OMG i am soooo happy today!!!

We had our appt with fertility Dr and he has given us the private referral as he said our ONLY
chance of getting pg is with IVF! Well not just plain IVF, ICSI. We need ICSI due to DB's motility
issues. I am soooo happy. We have to call the clinic tomorrow and arrange a appt for 1st wk in Jan.
The Dr said if i lose 3 stones in weight the treatment stands much more chance of working
and also the meds are cheaper the less you weigh, so i am deffo losing the excess baggage!!

We are going to start treatment beggining of march!!!

I am so happy i cried tears of joy today at finally having a great chance of being a Mother!!

I can't wait to call up tomorrow and get the ball rolling!!

Sarah

Good luck with all that. I just got pregnant my first time (I am in shock) with IUI, due to husbands low motility and somewhat low sperm. I also have PCOS. My doctor had suggested IVF also right away but I would have had to pay 10000 out of pocket, compared to the 350 per IUI so we went that route first. I got pregnant taking 50 mg Clomid, 10000 metforum and then the HCG shot for ovulation, and a double IUI. Goo luck with everything.
