Does anybody know if it is okay to take soy to bring on Ovulation on CD 35? I know you are supposed to take it from CD 1 till O time but I want to O and since my Dr. appointment is cancelled till Tues I am thinking about trying Soy and Ideas or Opinions?

I really wouldnt think it would be a good idea to try it that late in your cycle.

Thanks Magan. Maybe I will wait and see what happens. I have been on Metformin 500 mg twice a day for over 2 years and I know it is not doing the thing I think I will take 500 in the am and then 1000mg before bed and see what happens. LOL.

I have a Dr. appointment on Tues with a new Dr. I moved in Sept. I am going to tell her I want clomid I hope that does the trick.

I wouldn't take the soy. Soy acts as a goitrogen, or a food that suppresses your thyroid function. Since your thyroid controls your hormones, I wouldn't eat anything that could affect it! Good luck & I hope you O soon!!!!!
