SO i was totally stressing having to pay for the clomid cycle and IUI Out of pocket. I figured id have to pay for any scans etc. WELL i got a letter today from my fertility center and every single diagnostic test, involved with infertility or not is covered and insemination is covered as long as i get a referral!! im so happy! its as many attempts of the iui as needed to! Im not sure about injections and stuff but hey, im not going to be picky! im so relieved! this also means the hsg is covered too and it says if dh needs more s/a thats covered also but i knew that, he has had 2 and he just needed some special code. Wow this was great news, especially with the holidays coming. I just hope my bloodwork comes back okay so we can get this rolling. I also went today for progesterone, im curious to see what that is. Oh yeah, it says..ivf isnt covered but dh's work does offer a pcp plan that covers it so if all else fails, next december when we renew our benefits we will switch to the pcp and try ivf in 2008

That is so great! I was really surprised that my insurance covered this stuff too. Good luck. I was so antsy to see my progesterone results, which came out nice and high... I hope the same for you!

Oh Sweetie, that is really great news!
Fantastic that your insurance covers these things!
We are paying MEGA bucks for all our realated ICSI stuff in the new year,
so saving cash is great!

Good luck.
