Well, we got some really good news today in that DH's count went up by 17 million! I am ecstatic that the Clomid is apparently helping. His counts are still a little below normal, though, so as we expected, we've been referred to the RE to discuss IUI. I have my appointment in a little over a week for consultation and I am soooooo happy to be moving forward! I haven't really participated in the board yet, since we haven't had much happen, but I wanted to share my good news with you all and hope that I can hang around through all of this!

Thanks, everyone. We are trying our best to take it one step at a time, but it is really hard! I want to fast forward through the tests and the consultations and the waiting! I'm so glad that JM has this board, though. I am a question asker so there is not doubt I will have a ton of them for you all in the upcoming months. Unti then, I just want to wish everyone here the best of luck for good things to come.

Wow that's great that his numbers went up so much! How long is it until you get to see your new RE?

Sam ~ That is GREAT news! What did your DH do differently to get that count up by so much? I was very anxious as well when we went to our consult. I wanted to get all the "busy work" & testing done w/ so fast but it does take some time. Expect to lose a cycle or 2 in the process of all the testing. It is ok though b/c the more answers you get, the better off you will be when it is time to move forward.

Glad you stopped by & let us know what was going on!

We are seeing the RE on Feb. 27 for a physical and consultation. They actually had an appt. available next Tuesday and because I'm so impatient, I wanted to snatch it up, but the office was afraid that they couldn't get all of my medical records on time.

I don't think he did anything differently.....he's been on the Clomid for 6 months now. I think losing a couple of cycles is going to be hard, because I barely have motivation to try on our own this month (knowing that we probably won't succeed). I totally agree, though....I will be anxious to hear whatever they have to tell us!
