Hi ladies.

Thought we could all recount a few things from our childhoods that bring good memories

I am 25 and i know we are varying ages but im sure we all remember somethings.

I used to LOVE the little dolls called 'Quints' they came with a 5 seater buggy etc.
Also i loved collecting 'Sylvalian family' figures to go in my dolls house

Another thing i loved was a cartoon called 'Lady lovelylocks' and also the movie 'Labryrinth'

Aah the good ole days...

Any one else got some...?

Sarah

Well I'm a tad (ahem... okay maybe more than a tad) older than you, but I remember a few things too!

I LOVED my Barbies and even had the Charlie's Angels barbies. I had tons of accessories... the house, swimming pool and even the cruise ship!

I also really liked board games (still do really) and I can remember getting "Electronic Mastermind" - I was hooked! Of course, now a days the kids would laugh at that, but oh well!

But mostly, I just liked being outside playing with my friends. You could leave your house at daybreak and not have to be back until sunset... no silly play dates or chaperoning required - I think that's the saddest reflection on our society today that that childhood freedom is essentially gone. My favourite outside game to play was marbles... I used to kick butt at that.

I loved playing outside in the woods behind our house. We would make forts & play hide & seek. We also use to ride our bikes all the time on the trails. One of my favorite memories has to be riding bikes w/ my dad through the trails. It was the only time I truly had him all to my self. I miss the innocence of those days!
