Brief update on what I'm talking about...last week I went in to the ER because my right side was killing me, I was in so much pain. I was presenting with an Appenditits and had a CAT scan the hole nine and came back clear. But then they told me that they thought it was my right ovary. But yet they didnt even bother to do an ultrasound!
Anyways so I called and left a message with my Re and told him I needed a follow up. They finally called me back today and asked if I was still having the pain and I said yes but not nearly as bad as it was. I said I could be having some pain due to a period trying to come. And thats when she asked me if I had any unusal weight gain...i laughed and said no! But then I remembered that I have...almost 8 lbs in a week!!! So she said it could be from hyperstimulated ovary because that is one of the symptoms. I'm nervous now..Im probably gonna go in the morning to have an ultrasound done. Im just trying to stay calm and positive because if this is what it is then I cant do a cycle this month nor next!

Is that caused by clomid??

I really hope you feel better soon and get to continue with your cycle ok.

Good luck and keep us updated!

It sounds like OHSS to me, but I hope it's not so you can continue with your cycle.

What stims are you on and how much?

I know with my IVF fresh cycles, they always have you monitor for this from time of retrieval because of the high dosage of stims you're on for that process. With IVF, if it does happen, they skip the transfer that cycle and freeze all the embryos.

I hope you get some good news today. Keep us posted.

Oh! I just went in to learn about my injections & OHSS was explained to me & scared the bejeezers out of me! I know that Clomid is not the culprit very often but it can occur. Hopefully they will figure it out, say that it was a mild case & give you the go ahead for this cycle!
