Okay I guess we are committed now eh?

I had it pretty much yesterday I guess....

CD3 (Feb 28) start Marvelon 21 BCP take for 14 days
CD17 - March 14 - last day of BCP
March 17 bloodwork and U/S - moved to March 16th because of the weekend
March 17th - start Suprefact
March 19th - continue Suprefact, start stims (may change but he has me for Gonal-F 300 and Repronex 75)
March 23rd - blood test and u/s

March 25 - 30 - every other day or possible every day monitoring and bloodwork - depends on how I respond. Trigger will be anywhere from March 29 - April 1, ER 36 hours later, ET 3 days after that.

I have a huge amount of bloodwork I have to go and get done - wow! DH has to have another S/A done, this one being called a sperm functional assessment test - not sure how they differ (I haven't read that far) but I think they do a wash as well to see how the little swimmers do.

I know I keep saying this but holy crap, this is all happening very fast. I think when I switch my calendar over to March on Thursday the whole reality of all this is going to set in.

Yep shortest they have other than a natural cycle. He barely wants to suppress - just enough to take control on my ovaries I guess

OMG in one month I will be going through ET and ER. Gosh I hope he's wrong and I stimulate well....

For my fresh IVF cycle, we didn't do any suppression at all. I started my meds on day 3 of my cycle and then my ER was about 9 days after that, and my ET was 5 days later. I stimmed just fine without any suppression, so it doesn't hurt to give it a shot. So I guess I was on the "super short protocol".

I think I posted this to you already, but it bears repeating... once the IVF cycle starts it is a whirlwind of activity and things move very quickly.... right up until the dreaded 2ww!

I'm so happy that you are on your way and you have protocol in hand and ready to go! My first fresh cycle I had no BCP at all and went straight into stims, so it was real fast as well. My 2nd fresh cycle was pretty much the same protocol as yours but without the suprefact. I was on the same dosage of Gonal-F as you for the first attempt as well. For the second one, they upped me to 350 (accounted for me being a year older) and it ended up being a touch too much and they pulled me back to 300.

My first fresh cycle was transfer at Day 3 and the second one we went to Day 5 blasts.

I will have everything crossed for you that this cycle works. Good luck!!

Wow! You are all set to go. I am so excited for you. I hope it works on your first try and you don't have to think about TTC any more for a long while.

Yep, I would say that you are definitely moving fast now! We may very well be doing IVF if my ovaries produce 4 or more mature follicles when we go in for our CD 10 scan. My RE really doesn't like to do an IUI w/ more than that in fear of a pgcy of 4+ babies & we won't do selective reduction SO I am reading all of your posts & getting educated quite quickly!

I bet you can't wait!!!!
