Hi Jen! I'll be starting clomid next cycle too. Here's my plan (if no BFP, then AF should be here 3/6)...

Lab work between CD 3 - 5
Clomid CD 5 - 9
HSG between CD 8 - 10
Ultrasound between CD 16 -18
Lab work between CD 23 - 25

Mine is probably a bit different because we're trying to do a lot in one cycle (hsg, u/s), but hope the info helps!

I was prescribed Clomid today.
I will start Clomid CD 5 and take until CD 9.
I will have an ultrasound CD 16 or 17.
I will have bloodwork to check progesterone on CD 21.
Hope this helps!

In my case,it depends.I have to take Clomid on CD´s 5 to 9,but not everyone will O before their CD21 bloodwork,so for an OB to asume we will have perfect 28 day cycles on Clomid is totally un-realistic
Clomid didnt shorten my cycle at all (it was 42 days long),and although I had bloodwork on CD26 and then CD37,I hadent O´d,and my OB doesnt think the regular 21 day bloodwork will work for me.
So this is my monthly scedule:
CD3 to 5 Complete hormonal bloodwork
CD 5 to 9 Clomid
CD25 progesterone bloodwork
CD35 " "
(I have to have this bloodwork every 10 days until AF...especially if my cycle is long)
Blood work once AF is here to check hormone levels once again.
On the 19th of March,u/s to check for cysts

Actually, you´re fine.Every doctor is different and if yours thinks you need Clomid from CD6 to 10,then thats ok.Mine doesnt even do u/s until 3 months of Clomid, and Im only having one done on the 19th because coincidently I will be mid cycle on my next apointment (which was originaly only to give her my bloodwork results) and she just wanted to see my folicles..so whilst shes at it,she´ll also be checking for cysts.
Some doctors are just less "thorough",but that doesnt mean that they are wrong Mine isnt as thorough as most doctors Iv heard of on here, but thats just how she works and I understand because this way things get done quicker kwim?
Im sure you´re fine, trust your doctor,he knows your case and he will treat you acording to that

Here's what I did this cycle:

ultrasound CD2
clomid CD3-7
ultrasound and HCG shot CD 12
iui CD 14
2ww now until forever!

you may want to ask if you can take the clomid earlier. 6-10 seems a little late to me.

good luck!

I started clomid this cycle and took it on days 5-9 and had a progesterone check at CD21. I was only 3DPO then since the clomid caused me to O late. My progesterone was a 32!!! Yay, clomid worked!!! On a non-medicated cycle I had a progesterone of 7, so the 32 at only 3DPO has me really excited!!
