I just wanted to say thanks for recomending the movie...Other than the horrible acting it was a wonderful and touching movie!! Even my husband agreed it was a good movie and that is unusual for him to like this kind of movie! Thanks again! And to all of you who havn't watched it yet...WATCH IT!!
YAY I'm so glad that you watched it!!! It moved me so much, and I really hope it inspired you as well. Yes, the acting is very poor, but like I was telling someone else- it wasn't meant to be a major motion picture, it was made in someone's home town, and they entered it in the sundance film festival and got rave reviews- sorta a fluke like Napolean Dinomyte (sp?)
Anyways, yes, if you have not seen it- go rent it- I'm SURE it will move you, and give you MUCH hope!!!!
Yeah, none of those folks are professional actors... it was shot via a church in Albany GA.
Dh actually grew up going to several productions at that church. their theater, puppetry, etc programs are very strong and they do a lot for the community. As Melissa said, that was no expected to be something that went nationwide like it did. They certainly aren't complaining though!!!
